Founded by Afton Potter, a pediatric provider and working mother of three, Little Spuds was created to simplify and enhance the way we care for our children. We provide kid-friendly, high-quality, evidence-based medical care to infants, children, and teens in the comfort of your own home.

When you schedule an in-home sick evaluation with Little Spuds, your child will receive a medical evaluation and treatment plan by an experienced pediatric provider. A home visit saves you time, prevents exposure to illnesses other children may have in an office waiting room, and can be less stressful for your child. Here at Little Spuds, we aim to make parent's lives easier. That's why we also offer in-home point of care testing and medication dispensing for common conditions when applicable. Unsure if your child's healthcare condition requires urgent care evaluation, primary care evaluation or emergency care evaluation? Schedule a telehealth visit with Little Spuds! Our lead pediatric provider, Afton Potter, has experience triaging, evaluating and treating common childhood illnesses. If your child's condition is treatable with a telehealth visit, you'll save a trip to the office and your child can be evaluated comfortably at home. If an in-home evaluation or emergency care is needed, we'll guide you through the process.

Here at Little Spuds, we are always thinking ahead. For example, wouldn't it be great to have a pediatric provider come to your home and provide hospital-grade nasal suctioning to your small infant so they can breath and eat when sick with viral illnesses? What about having a pediatric provider come to your home and pierce your child's ears with medical grade products? What about group infant/child CPR training for new or established parents? We think all of these ideas will bring added value to our home medical services so in the near future we plan to launch:

MEET AFTON
Afton, the founder of Little Spuds, is a passionate pediatric provider with years of experience in child healthcare. As a mother of three, she understands the challenges parents face and is committed to making pediatric urgent care more accessible and less stressful.

Afton Potter, mom of 3 and a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner, is Little Spuds Pediatrics (a.k.a Little Spuds) owner and creator. She is the lead pediatric provider who provides all medical services for our home visits. Afton designed Little Spuds as a service she wished she would have had when her kids were small: an urgent care that comes direct to you. She has first hand experience with a busy working parent’s schedule and the need for simplification at every corner. This includes saving time in seeking care for our children by creating the first ever in-home pediatric urgent care within the State of Washington.
Afton has over 20 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, specifically many different critical care areas of pediatric hospitals as well as pediatric clinics, including the pediatric emergency room. After earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner, she obtained specific training within pediatric urgent care. All this to say, Afton strives for excellence when providing medical evaluations and treatment plans for sick children. She cares about making medical visits comfortable, easy and accessible. Afton is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to families within her community, all within the comfort and ease of their own homes.
